Physiotherapists and chiropractors

The physiotherapists and chiropractors at Quality Health Medical Centre are experienced and highly skilled, having extensive ability to manage acute sporting injuries, Worker’s Compensation injuries, CTP/motor vehicle accident-related injuries and post-operative orthopaedic rehabilitation, via full body assessment. They are also experienced at managing:

  • Women’s health issues
  • Temporomandibular joint (TMJ) issues
  • Arthritis/joint pain
  • Neck and back pain
  • Posture dysfunction

They are responsible for treating a variety of musculoskeletal conditions, both acute and chronic. They utilise a range of effective treatment strategies including soft tissue release, joint mobilisation, dry needling, taping, specific physical therapy techniques (including the Mulligan technique, the McKenzie Method and Muscle Energy Technique), Clinical Pilates and prescribing individualised rehabilitation programs.

The current staff are:

  1. Cindy (Shuyang) He – graduated from The University of Sydney (Master of Physiotherapy)
    Available Saturdays 9am-1pm
    Can speak Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese) and English
  2. Kyorang Kim – graduated from The University of Newcastle (Bachelor of Physiotherapy)
    Available Tuesdays 2pm-6pm and Thursdays 10:30am-6pm
    Can speak Korean and English

Exercise physiologist

Lilia Qiu is now working at Quality Health Medical Centre, and is available on Mondays 9am-1pm.

  • What is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP)?
    • Exercise Physiologists are qualified allied health professionals, accredited by Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA). AEPs are able to design, deliver and evaluate safe and effective exercise interventions for people with acute, sub-acute or chronic medical conditions, injuries or disabilities in order to help improve their overall health, function and quality of life.
    • Lilia (Li) Qiu graduated from The University of Sydney (Master of Exercise Physiology) in 2020, and has been working as an AEP since then.
